The hotel occupies a delightful village setting in an area of outstanding natural beauty, and the majority of its rooms enjoy stunning views of the valley.
Founded in the reign of King James I, the hotel boasts the splendour of a traditional Georgian country house, and is set in 3 acres of private grounds. All bedrooms have been individually designed and well-equipped, and come with private facilities.
With its spacious public rooms, quality accommodation and friendly and attentive service, the hotel is a haven for the discerning traveller. A number of dining options are available, including a full à la carte menu, as well as bar snacks and the hotel’s own 16th century village inn.

From the M4, junction 18:
- Take the A46 to Bath.
- On the outskirts of Bath, pick up the A36 to Warminster.
